My Middle East exploration continues!  After Israel, Palestine, Jordan, UAE, and Oman last December, I am back in GCC region this February.  This trip I covered Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar.

Growing up, only war and terrorism news dominated Middle East.  Most grew up thinking Middle East is very dangerous.  Yes, in recent years, there are areas which have been and are still in challenging situations,  but there are also many where we have felt safe visiting, where the people are lovely, and the men though culturally prefer to be distant to women that are stranger to them, are polite, making this single girl traveler very comfortable.   Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman fall into this category.

I would like to present the various sides of Middle East and hope it can change the perceptions of the region, of the its people.
